Introduction Blog

          Introduction

Welcome to my blog! Here I will be posting blogs about each chapter in the book of Romans, written by the apostle Paul, in 57AD. He wrote it to Christians in Rome to strengthen them in their faith and warn them of false teachings. The main focus of this book is that we should live for Jesus and how your faith affects your everyday lives.

Here is the layout of each bog:

Read: The passages to read before the main body of the blog

Main body of the blog that will go through the reading above. This is taking a deep dive into Paul’s letter to the Romans and through the themes of grace, law and faith. This will hopefully help highlight where our source of faith comes from, the love and grace God shows us and helps us avoid any false teaching as Paul highlights.

Going Deeper Questions

These questions allow you to go deeper to what Paul and other authors are talking about in these chapters. You can go through these questions on your own or in a small group to spark discussion and go through the themes that will be brought up in these blogs. These are questions designed to go deeper into what is being talked about and may go through things that I may have missed in the blog.

Who am I?

I am Thomas Graham, and I am a student at Ulster University. I am in my second year of my marketing course. These are blogs for my university module, data analytics. So, if you enjoy them and feel free to comment and share with friends and family. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Why Romans?

These blogs are supposed to be something that we are passionate about and I felt a desire to go through the book of Romans. It is a powerful book, written by Paul, that explains the gospel very well but also challenges our thinking when it comes to our faith and overcoming sin in our lives. As well as other things that may challenge you or bring you encouragement wherever you are in life.

Target Audience

The target audience for these blogs are Christians from all ages. The hope is that this blog encourages you in your walk with God or challenges you to take action with your faith. Paul says in Roman’s 2v13 to be doers of the law and not hearers. So, my prayer is that whoever reads these blogs can use it, either as a tool for their small groups or bible studies and/or share with others the love of God.

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8v37-39
